BIOGRAPHY OF SHEIKH ABDUL RAHMAN BIN ABDULAZIZ BIN ABDULLAH SUDAIS
He was born in the city of Riyadh in the year 1382AH where he lived for a duration of time. He memorised the Holy Quran at the age of 12.

He graduated from the college of Sharia Law in Riyadh in the year 1403H. He was appointed as an assistant lecturer in the Department of Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence.
He acquired a distinction in his Master’s Degree from the College of Shariah Islamic law at the Islamic University of Imam Muhammad Bin Sa’ud within the year 1408AH.
He then proceeded for his doctorate degree in College of Shariah Islamic Law at Umm Al Qurra University where he graduated with a distinction within the year 1416AH.
He was appointed as an Associate Professor at the same University, thereafter became a Professor in the year 1433AH where he specialized in the Principles of Jurisprudence.
Amongst the notable teachers he learnt from are, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Baaz and Sheikh Abdul Razaq Al Afeefee (May Allah have mercy on them).
He had worked as an Imam and Khateeb (a person who delivers the Friday sermon) at a number of Mosques in Riyadh. He was appointed as an Imam and Khateeb at the Grand Mosque Masjid Al Haram in the year 1404H.
Thereafter he was appointed as the President General of The Affairs of The Two Holy Mosques on Monday 17th of Jumadal Akhir 1433AH
He is the general supervisor of the society of the charitable collaborative advocacy in Makkah. He is also the chairman of the Principles of Jurisprudence and Sharia at Imam Muhammad Bn Sa’ud University.
He also acquired an award of “Islamic Personality of the year” by the Dubai International Holy Quran award in the year 1426AH.
In addition to his specialisation in Principles of jurisprudence and Sharia, he has interest in issues of moderation, intellectual security and he also written several books on the topic and cultural partnership.
